Giving Sports

We’re getting really close to being able to launch an amazing new feature for Giving Sports. The new feature rewards users with Achievements for participating on the site. Besides earning Achievements (kind of like X Box Live Achievements), fundraisers and donors will also be awarded points for being full participants on Giving Sports.

I’m still working out the details of what activities should be rewarded on the site, but you can be sure that we’ll be awarding things like emailing your friends and family about Giving Sports fundraising and for those people who end up making a contribution to your organization. We’re also looking to reward people for commenting, uploading photos and other parts of the site.

I think you’re really going to like these new Achievements and the effect they’ll have on your fundraising efforts. Plus, this is just the start. We have a lot more fundraising features that we’ve been working on that we can’t wait to roll out.
